Fares Subsidies

You may be eligible to have the fare for your trip subsidized for one of the following:

Senior Citizens – If you are age 60 and older, you are eligible to ride for 50¢ per trip, thanks to reduced fare subsidies from the Pennsylvania Lottery and/or the Mercer County Area Agency on Aging, Inc..

Persons with Disabilities – If you are under the age of 60, have any disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), have proof of your disability from a physician or agency and have completed, in its entirety, the appropriate registration form, you may be eligible for a reduced fare subsidy from the Shenango Valley Shuttle Service’s (SVSS) ADA Program and/or MCCT’s Persons with Disabilities (PwD) Transportation Program.

Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) – If you qualify for medical assistance through the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, you may be eligible for free transportation service through MATP which is managed by the Mercer County Area Agency on Aging, Inc.
